Liam is fifteen years old. He lives with his parents and his older sister, Emma. On school days, Liam
usually comes home at four o’clock. He has a snack, does his homework, and then relaxes for a
while. Last Tuesday was different. Liam wanted to spend the afternoon with his best friend, Noah.
They met outside the school and walked to a small sports center.
The weather was cool, so they played basketball inside. They played for about an hour and talked
about their school day. After that, they went to a nearby shop and bought two sandwiches and some
water. At six o’clock, Liam and Noah walked to the library. Liam needed a science book for a school
project. Noah chose a book about space.
They stayed at the library for an hour. In the evening, Liam went home. He helped his sister prepare
dinner. After dinner, he finished his science project and listened to music in his room. Liam was tired
at the end of the day, but he was happy because he had a fun afternoon.
